Method for continuous production of short- and medium-lived radionuclides
Description
The so-called gas-jet-technique is modified so that continuously short- and medium-lived radionuclides are produced at a high rate. That is achieved by continuously adding to the circulating gas material particles in the form of aerosols and clusters, and upon addition of other chemical reagents, one or more radionuclides bond with those particles which then are separated from the gas flow by suitable filters
