Description

Studies carried out on the development of more effective methods of inducing mutations showed that combined application of physical and chemical mutagens is significantly more efficient than single treatment. Mutagens utilized in this way lead to a higher frequency and a wider spectrum of induced mutations, thus creating greater genetic variability. (author). 6 refs, 3 figs
