Density and surface tension of sodium halide melts with zirconium and hafnium tetrafluorides

Description

Density and surface tension of melted NaCl-ZrF4, NaF-ZrF4, NaCl-HfF4 and NaF-HfF4 mixtures depending on the 953-1380 K temperature interval are studied by the method of maximum pressure in a gas bubble. Data are presented in the form of linear equation coefficients. Molar volumes and their deviations from additive calculated values, adsorption of a surface-active component, excess surface energies, enthalpy and entropy of a monomolecular surface layer of a substance mole are calculated on the basis of the experimental data obtained
