Investigation of pseudo-contact shifts of PMR signal of acetone in the second coordination sphere of rare earth aquo-ions

Description

Using micella of surfactants as a standard studied are the shifts of acetone PMR signal in the second coordination sphere of rare earth salts. Behaviour of found shifts agrees qualitatively with the Bleany theory for pseudocontact interaction. Absolute values of shifts are comparable with the shifts of water signal in the first coordination sphere. A conclusion is made on possible sufficient contribution of shifts of the 2nd coordination sphere while using shift-reagents
