Restrictions on food and water after a radiological accident
Description
In common with all radiation protection criteria dealing with low doses and dose rates, it is not possible to recommend radionuclide concentration limits for foods below which they pose no risk. Criteria for restricting the supply of contaminated food and water have therefore to represent a balance between all the harms and benefits likely to arise from the intervention. (author)
