Cooling principles of nuclear power plants

Description

The general targets are in the case of stationary operation - to keep temperature of fuel and fuel can below design values - to convert power at maximum efficiency and in the case of transients - to avoid fuel element failures during ATWS - to replace coolant and avoid fuel melting during postulatet LOCA and - to provide long term decay heat removal.
