'177Lu labeled phosphonates: possible agents for bone pain palliation

Description
The syntheses of a few phosphonate ligands with variable numbers of phosphonate group and their radiolabeling with 177Lu are reported. The complexes have been characterised by paper chromatography and paper electrophoresis. Complexation parameters were optimised to obtain maximum yields of >97% and the complexes were found to be stable for up to 10 days at room temperature. (author)
