Multiple loop activations and continuous energy release in a solar flare
Description
In this contribution some of the problems posed in the Circular Letter are addressed by giving a summary of results drawn from a study of the 1973 June 15 flare observed from Skylab. Specifically, the magnetic configuration, spatial structure, and mass and energy transfer observed in this event are commented on. This flare was a classic 2 ribbon-type with a distinct impulsive phase, and preceded by a 'disparition-brusque', so that the conclusions drawn from it may be typical of a wide class of flares.
