Cosmological solutions with 'ten into four' compactification

Description
Cosmological solutions in the 10-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric Yang-Mills-supergravity system with non-vanishing Yang-Mills and Kalb-Ramond field strengths are found. In all these solutions three space dimensions expand faster than the remaining ones. The interest in these solutions arises from the relation of this system to superstrings and from a ''no-go'' theorem which applies if one does not consider cosmological solutions and requires a maximally symmetric 4-space-time instead.
