sup(99m)Tc-HSA by a new labelling method
Description
As a result of clinical use of sup(99m)Tc-HSA prepared by technealbumin kit, the following results were obtained. As compared with the former preparation method, this method is simple and is operated by one step and the time required can be shortened under one third. Therefore, exposure dose of patients during operation can be reduced sufficiently. Since radiochemical purity of sup(99m)Tc-HSA was high, about 100% and radiation concentration could be concentrated about 2.5 times the former, injection bolus could be secured small enough. Movement of sup(99m)Tc-HSA in blood was almost consistent with that of 131I-HSA, and obtained was a result useful for determinative investigation of blood flow movement such as cardiac output. Effective period of sup(99m)Tc-HSA was long, 2 months, and any side effect did not appeared as far as it was preserved at low temperature. (M. Tsunoda)
