Description

We report on the MILC Collaboration close-quote s calculation of fB , fBs , fD , fDs , and their ratios. Our central values come from the quenched approximation, but the quenching error is estimated from NF2 dynamical staggered lattices. We use Wilson light valence quarks and Wilson and static heavy quarks. We find, for example, fB=157±11+25+23-9-0 MeV , fBs/fB=1.11±0.0 2+0.04-0.03±0.03 , fDs=210±9+25+17-9-1 MeV , and fB/fDs=0.75±0.0 3+0.04+0.08-0.02-0.00 , where the errors are statistical, systematic (within the quenched approximation), and systematic (of quenching), respectively. copyright 1998 The American Physical Society
