Tantalum and niobium disulfides intercalated with chromium and nickel

Description
Statistical distribution of chromium (nickel) in octahedral cavities is established through roentgenostructural study of the Cr1/3-xNixTaS2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1.3) intercalates. Formation of superstructure, characterized by nonuniform distribution of nickel atoms in crystallographic positions is fixed by results of neutronographic study of Ni1/3TaS2 by temperature decrease within the range 1.5-293 K. The Cr0.03Ni0.30TaS2 under analogous conditions no structural transformations. The antiferromagnetic order for Ni1/3TaS2 and Cr0.03Ni0.30TaS2 is not identified
Abstract (Russian)
С помощью рентгеноструктурного исследования интеркалятов Cr1/3-xNixTaS2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1.3) установлено статистическое распределение хрома (никеля) в октаэдрических пустотах. По результатам нейтронографического изучения Ni1/3TaS2 при понижении температуры в интервале 1,5-293 К зафиксировано образование сверхструктуры, характеризуемой неравномерным распределением атомов никеля в кристаллографических позициях. Интеркалят Cr0.03Ni0.30TaS2 в аналогичных условиях не претерпевает структурных превращений. Для Ni1/3TaS2 и Cr0.03Ni0.30TaS2 антиферромагнитный порядок не обнаруженAdditional details
