Structure and ion mobility in MM'4A3F17·2HF (M=Li, Na; M'=NH4, Rb, Cs; A=Zr, Hf) compounds

Description
The structure and dynamics of the fluoride subsystem in the compounds described as Na(NH4)4Zr3F17·2 HF (1), NaCs4Hf3F17·2 HF (2), Li(NH4)4Zr3F17·2 HF (3), LiRb4Zr3F17·2 HF (4) were studied using X-ray diffraction analysis and 1H, 19F NMR. The crystals belong to the monoclinic system, space group P21/m (1, 2) or P21/n (3, 4). According to the obtained results the compounds are isostructural within one space group. The structures of all four compounds are layered. The [MA3F17·2HF]∞∞4- layers alternate with layers of M' cations. The ion motion dynamics was studied and the types of motions were determined. The relationship between the compound structure and the dynamic properties of the fluoride sublattice was considered

Методами рентгеноструктурного анализа и ЯМР 1H, 19F исследованы строение и динамика фторидной подсистемы в соединениях Na(NH4)4Zr3F17·2 HF (1), NaCs4Hf3F17·2 HF (2), Li(NH4)4Zr3F17·2 HF (3), LiRb4Zr3F17·2 HF (4). Кристаллы принадлежат к моноклинной сингонии, пр. гр. P21/m (1, 2) и P21/n (3, 4). Согласно полученным данным, в рамках одной пространственной группы соединения изоструктурны. Структуры всех четырех соединений имеют слоистый характер. Слои состава [MA3F17·2HF]∞∞4- чередуются со слоями катионов M'. Изучена динамика ионных движений и определены их виды.
