Analysis of harmonic-undulator free-electron laser gain
Description
In this paper we have studied harmonic-undulator free-electron laser emission and gain for higher harmonics. The harmonic undulator gives higher intensities and gain at higher harmonics. An analytical expression for the intensity for the harmonic-undulator radiation and laser gain is presented for comparison with the standard planar undulator.
