The patent claim relates to the use of graphite-fibre reinforced graphite for the tips of control rods or for the outer shell of spherical fuel elements in pebble-bed reactors. Der Patentanspruch bezieht sich auf die Verwendung von mit Graphitfasern verstaerktem Graphit fuer die Spitze eines Regelstabs oder die Aussenschale kugelfoermiger Betriebselemente bei einem Kugelhaufenkernreaktor. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die Festigkeit und damit die Formstabilitaet der Regelstabspitzen und der Graphitbetriebselemente zu erhoehen. (orig./IHoe)
