Development of high voltage capacitor charger for XFEL/SPring-8

As for an X-ray Free Electron Laser, it is one of the national key technologies, and this achievement, the charger named 0.01% or less that charges a high voltage with the capacitor in high accuracy extremely is needed. The accuracy of the high voltage charger is about 0.1% in the prior art, and accuracy that is one digit higher has been demanded. Our company developed the super-highly accurate high voltage charger that adopted the circuit and the structure of a new method this time, and achieved this demand performance. The stability operation of an X-ray Free Electron Laser greatly improves by completing this device, the valuable experimental data is obtained, and it can be said that a big contribution was accomplished aiming at the establishment of the national key technology.
