Azimuthal non-uniformity of velocity field in a nuclear reactor sinking slit

Description

Results of calculations of coolant velocity field in a nuclear reactor sinking slit are carried out. It is shown that complex motion regimes of a coolant are formed in an annular sinking slit. Dependence of azimuthal non-uniformity on the sinking slit geometrical characteristics is investigated. The calculated results are compared with available in literature experimental data
