Description
This paper presents variation of measured atmospheric 7Beryllium concentration at Kalpakkam site and its dependence with meteorological observations and sunspot number. The correlation results obtained with meteorological observations revealed that local meteorological conditions and geographically dependent factors affect the variations in atmospheric 7Be concentration. The significances of 7Be concentration correlated with sunspot number and with reported results of other location (Mangalore, India) uncovered the large-scale atmospheric dynamics association and each site has unique combination of factors that affect the 7Be concentration in air. The spatial and temporal measurement of 7Be concentration in air data has huge potential to study the factors affecting pollutant concentration and its dispersion. (author)
