40nm Quasi-Continuous Wavelength Tuning of V-cavity Semiconductor Laser

Description

Full band quasi-continuous wavelength tuning with ∼36dB side mode suppression ratio of V-cavity semiconductor laser is reported. A simple and general tuning algorithm employing only two electrodes to control the frequency combs shifting synchronously is presented and demonstrated, respectively. (paper)
