Description

We calculate the four basic parameters relevant for B0 - anti B0 mixing and CP violation (x = ΔM/GAMMA, γ = ΔGAMMA/2GAMMA, eta tilde <- = (1 - epsilonsub(B))/(1 + epsilonsub(B)), and sin 2phi of Carter and Sanda) as functions of Msub(t), tausub(B) and R (the top quark mass, the B-meson lifetime and GAMMA(b -> u)/GAMMA(b -> c) respectively). We give also predictions for various quantities which exhibit B0 - anti B0 mixing and CP violation. Many of these quantities are sensitive functions of msub(t), tausub(B), R and of the 'bag' parameter B. We find that certain charge asymmetries in on-shell Bsub(d) decays are sizeable. Also the same-sign dilepton production resulting from B0sub(s) - anti B0sub(s) mixing turns out to be substantial. (orig.)
