Device for representing a plane of a body by gamma or X radiation
Description
The scattered radiation produced by the primary beam in the body is detected by a detector. There is a slot between the body and the detector. There are a large number of laminations inside the slot, which are combined into an independent unit in the form of a scatter grid and which are used in X-ray diagnosis. To reduce the errors caused by multiple scatter radiation, the laminations made of lead or steel are longer and/or thicker than is otherwise usual. (DG)

Die mittels des Primaerstrahls im Koerper erzeugte Streustrahlung wird von einer Detektoranordnung erfasst. Zwischen Koerper und Detektoranordnung befindet sich eine Schlitzblende. Innerhalb der Schlitzblende ist eine Vielzahl von Lamellen angeordnet, die zu einer selbstaendigen baulichen Einheit in Form eines Streustrahlenrasters zusammengefasst sind und in der Roentgendiagnostik benutzt werden. Zur Reduzierung der durch Mehrfach-Streustrahlung entstehenden Fehler sind die Lamellen aus Blei oder Stahl laenger und/oder dicker ausgefuehrt als sonst ueblich. (DG)Files
