Description

(n, p) and (n, α)-cross-sections with astrophysical importance have been measured for light nuclei with masses between 15 and 50 u. Thermal neutron induced measurements were performed at the high flux reactor of the I.L.L. (Grenoble); the resonance and keV neutron energy region was covered at the Geel Linear Accelerator. The importance of these data is illustrated by means of a typical s-process nucleosynthesis reaction network. (orig.)
