Description

In the first year of NPP, Paks operation, values of lymphocyte micronucleus examinations were significantly higher for personnel subject to radiation exposure relative to the control group under no radiation. However, in the following year, this difference between the two groups was disappeared. This method has proved to be reliable during follow-up studies of personnel. The variation of micronucleus values show proportionality to other genotoxic effect, and the method is suitable to assess individual radiation sensitivity
