The static structure factor of liquid Li
Creators

Description
The classical Molecular Dynamics method has been used to calculate the structure factor S(Q) of liquid Li and this quantity is compared with that measured by neutron scattering. A system of 1458 Li atoms has been employed interacting, via periodic boundary conditions, with a recently derived interionic pair potential. The good agreement between the calculation and experiment is taken to indicate that the explicit many body interionic forces are not important in liquid Li. (author)
