Issues of the safety culture at the nuclear power plants
Description
Aspects and specific features of the term 'safety culture' as applied to nuclear power plants, are reviewed. The factors which led to the Chernobyl NPP accident are analyzed from the point of view of safety culture principles violation. Specific examples of different factors influencing safety level are provided and interdependence between the safety culture and radiation protection level at nuclear power plant is shown. 8 refs
