Diamond detector as fast neutron spectrometer
Description
Possibility to use semiconducting detector made of natural diamond as a fast neutron spectrometer is shown. Operation principle of the spectrometer boils down to the recording of nuclear reaction products occurring within detector capacity under the effect of fast neutrons. Spectrum form of reaction is shown to enable to determine fast neutron spectrum
