Comparative study of thermoluminescence detection and airborne γ-ray spectrometric survey in uranium deposits exploration

Description
This paper has presented a thermoluminescence detection used in prospecting sandstone-type uranium deposits. A comparative study of the airborne γ-ray spectrometric survey and the thermoluminescence detection was carried out in a known area and an unknown area. It is found that the TL detection, used as a complemental measure in uranium exploration, is simple and easy to handle. When used in radioactive exploration in large overlaying areas, the technique can achieve a goal of 'removing overlay and into depth', and post directly how the radioactive elements gathered and scattered in depth, thus showing its superiority
