Linear approximation in a new theory of gravity
Description
A weak-field expansion is developed for a new theory of gravity, based on a Hermitian nonsymmetric gsub(μν). Plane wave solutions exist for both the symmetric and skew parts of gsub(μν). The symmetric part of gsub(μν) is associated with the spin-2 graviton, while the skew part is related to a massless spin-O boson called the 'skewon'. In the linear approximation the Eoetvoes experiment is not violated. The one-boson exchange graph is calculated. Only quadrupole and higher poles contribute to gravitational radiation. (author)
