Description
Cerebral radionecrosis in patients who have received irradiation for primary brain or pituitary tumors remains a clinical problem and the incidence of this complication and its relationship to radiation dose, time, fractionation and volume of irradiation is uncertain. The pathological features and time-dose relationship of photon radiation injury to the central nervous system are reviewed here in man
