Advanced gas-cooled reactor has good energy prospects in the electric power industry

Description

After a brief description of the long-term developments of the British gas-cooled reactors, the evaluation of the experiences and the future development possibilities are discussed. High-temperature reactors for coal gasification or liquidation is a good aspect for the development direction in Great Britain. (TK)

Nach den hier kurz beschriebenen langjaehrigen Entwicklungen der britischen gasgekuehlten Reaktoren wird ueber die Verwertung der Erfahrungen und zukuenftige Entwicklungsmoeglichkeiten diskutiert. Hochtemperaturreaktoren zur Kohlevergasung- bzw. -Verfluessigung ist ein guter Aspekt fuer die Entwicklungsrichtung in Grossbritannien. (TK)
