Low level counting using thermodynamic nonequilibrium effects
Description
The problems are discussed of discrete- and continuous-operation equipment for ionizing radiation detection using thermodynamic non-equilibrium. A survey is presented of studies published so far in this field and of the specifications of cloud chambers with regard to low level counting, especially the required measurement times. (B.S.)
