Differential spectrophotometric determination of niobium and tantalum with arsenazo 1
- 1. Vsesoyuznyj Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Monokristallov, Stsintilyatsionnykh Materialov i Osobo Chistykh Veshestv, Kharkov (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
Consideration is given to the application conditions of arsenazo 1 for the differential-spectrophotometric determination of niobium and tantalum. The effect of various factors, such as concentration of the metal ions, pH of the solution, concentration of the reagent, on the course of complexing has been studied. A method has been developed for determining niobium and tantalum in the charge and monocrystals of lithium niobate and tantalate with relative standard deviations not exceeding 3x10-3 and 4x10-3, respectively
