Numerical simulation of topological vortices in quasi two-dimensional systems

Description
Present article is devoted to numerical simulation of topological vortices in quasi two-dimensional systems. The dynamics of interconnected vortex topological structures of Belavin-Polyakov type in the framework of (3+1) nonlinear σ-model has been studied. Numerical models of stationary and moving interconnected vortex pairs have been obtained, and the conditions that lead to their oscillatory dynamics and to the gradual energy radiation in spatially separated two-dimensional layers have been determined.
