Neptunium, plutonium, and uranium ion reactivity to primary water radiolysis products

Description

The authors use the pulsed radiolysis technique with optical recording of the short-lived particles in order to determine the mechanism of radiolytic conversions of neptunium, plutonium, and uranium ions in aqueous solutions. The rate constants of reactions of OH radicals with neptunium, plutonium, and uranium ions are presented. The data obtained make it possible to determine the mechanism of γ-radiolysis of neptunium, plutonium, and uranium solutions
