Fluctuations of light intensity in atmospheric channels induced by high-power pulsed radiation
Description
The propagation of laser beams in the atmosphere can, in a number of cases, be accompanied by the formation of refraction channels having a transverse gradient of the index of refraction in the region of localization of the beam due to gaseous and aerosol absorption of the energy of the propagating radiation. The influence of the refraction channel formed by pulsed radiation in a turbulent atmosphere on the time correlation of weak intensity fluctuations and the dispersion of random shifts of the probe beam is investigated in this paper
