China sets 1000 MW wind power goal
Creators
Description
As a part of its huge power needs for the next century, China has set itself a target of 1000 MW of installed wind power capacity by the year 2000. In order to meet this goal, China is looking to western manufacturers of wind turbines to transfer their know-how so that the Chinese can produce at least a portion of the necessary machines themselves.
