The Windscale error

Within a week of the UK Parliament giving the go-ahead for the world's largest nuclear fuel reprocessing plant at Windscale Cumbria, Britain and Japan signed a Pound500 million contract which will help pay for the plant and give Japan the right to transport 1600 tonnes of spent fuel to the UK. The plant is not yet built, however, and opposition to it among an increasing number of MPs has been strong.
