Kinetic features of heavy metal leaching from electroplating sludge

Description
The process of leaching heavy metals (M = Cd, Cu, Fe, Cr, Zn, Ni) from electroplating sludge by sulfuric acid, depending on the acid concentration, temperature and intensity of agitation, is studied. Basic stages and kinetic parameters of the process are ascertained. It is shown that cadmium leaching rate is controlled by the rate of external diffusion, the activation energy value amounting to 5.1 kJ/mol

Исследован процесс выщелачивания тяжелых металлов (M = Cd, Cu, Fe, Cr, Zn, Ni) из гальваношламов серной кислотой в зависимости от концентрации кислоты, температуры и интенсивности перемешивания. Установлены основные стадии и кинетические параметры процесса. Показано, что скорость выщелачивания кадмия определяется скоростью внешней диффузии, значение энергии активации при этом составляет 5,1 кДж/мольAdditional details
