Inclusive characteristics of multinucleon CC interactions at 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon
- 1. Joint Institute for Nuclear Research
Description
Experimental data are presented on the multinucleon interaction of carbon nuclei at momentum 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon. The data were obtained with the aid of a two-meter propane bubble chamber. The recorded particles were π- mesons and protons with characteristics extending far beyond the kinematic limit for nucleon-nucleon interactions. For the secondary charged baryons we obtained an exponential dependence of the differential cross section on the square of the transverse momentum with a slope parameter equal to about 1 (GeV/c)-2
