Spectroscopy of photoinduced reflection of light in La2CuO4 dielectric monocrystals

Description
A possibility of detecting photoinduced optic transitions in La2CuO4 monocrystals by the differential light reflection method is shown. Lightinduces electron transitions in 0.1-0.6 eV spectral range are detected. Low-energy transition intensity relative to 0.55 eV transition at a high excitation level depends superlinearly on the exciting light intensity. Photoinduced transitions are discussed using spin-polaron complex model
