Description

O atom reactions crucially determine the performance of the electron beam dry scrubbing (EBDS) process. The recognition of their part in NOx removal improves model calculations and permits estimates of in situ O atom concentrations from measured data. Minimization of intermediate O atom concentrations is recommended for optimum NO oxidation and practical aspects are discussed. (author)
