Description
In this lecture, we review some aspects of these two critical phenomena within the framework of a simple theoretical description based on the concept of percolation. In the first part of this lecture, we focus our attention on multifragmentation induced by heavy ions, while, in the second part, we describe a schematic geometrical approach to the problem of quark deconfinement.
