  • 1. Central Research Inst. of Electric Power Industry, Tokyo (Japan)

Description

It is essential for preventing the recurrence of human error incidents to analyze and evaluate them with the emphasis on human factor. This paper described the obtained results in respects of typical human errors together with situational factors and causal factors found commonly among analyzed incidents during operation and maintenance. Moreover, frequent preventive measures for each error categories were identified in each time interval (-'80, '81-'85, '86-'90, '91-). By the multivariate analysis, it was suggested that there were several occurrence patterns identified of how errors occur at nuclear power plants and also there were effective preventive measures for each human error.
