In-beam spectroscopy of low-lying energy levels at extreme isospin at the RIBF

  • 1. RIKEN Nishina Center, Wako, Saitama (Japan)

Description

An overview of results obtained with in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy at the RI Beam Factory of the RIKEN Nishina Center is presented. Besides a short description of the experimental setup, special focus is laid on nuclei around the N=20 magic number of neutron-rich nuclei and the spectroscopy on low-lying levels. Further, results form the SEASTAR project, which aims at a systematic spectroscopy of 21+ states in neutron-rich nuclei, are presented. (author)
