Coupled-channel optical model for positron-hydrogen scattering
- 1. Flinders Univ. of South Australia, Bedford Park. Inst. for Atomic Studies
Description
Positron-hydrogen scattering to 1s,2s and 2p states has been calculated at 54.42, 100 and 200 eV. Close coupling within the n = 1,2 and 3 channel space is used. Coupling potentials include polarisation terms calculated explicitly for the continuum and for relevant discrete excitations. The discrete polarisation potentials are checked at 100 eV by including 4s and 4p channels in the coupled space. (author)
