Description
The authors have studied by thermal desorption the implantation of 1.6 keV deuterium ions in three different graphite samples. One is pyrolitic and the two others are low-density graphites. Furthermore, the authors have measured desorption activation energies of 0.9 eV for all three samples. Implantation rates versus fluence curves indicate that adsorption is localized in defects, induced for pyrolitic graphite and natural for the two other samples. (orig.)
