Description
Observations of the Carina Nebula in the radio continuum radiation at 1.4 GHz and the H166 alpha recombination line were made. The velocity resolution for the H166 alpha observations was about 2 km/s. The main characteristic of the H166 alpha profiles are their complex structure. Electron temperatures are derived, under the assumption of local thermodynamic equilibrium. The median velocity to the H166 alpha profiles was used to investigate the kinematics of the low density ionized gas in the Carina Nebula. 27 references
