Description

A Product Composition Control System or PCCS will be discussed. The system was developed to blend the feed streams to the Defense Waste Processing Facility (DWPF) optimally and ensure that wasteforms produced by operation of the DWPF, will meet or exceed the numerous regulatory and processing criteria imposed. The PCCS is comprised of waste stream blending, product monitoring, and remediation algorithms. The algorithms represent a rigorous statistically-defensible management of a noisy, multivariate system with multiple constraints imposed
