Effect of caffeine on the radioresistance and radiosensitivity of Drosophila melanogaster
Description
The effect of pre-treatment with caffeine on the induction of lethal mutations by gamma radiation (from a 60Cobalt source)or by the chemical alkylating agent, ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS), was studied in the radioresistant CO3 strain and the radiosensitive RC1 strain of Drosophila melanogaster.
