Analysis of elastic and inelastic scattering of 185 MeV protons with parametrized reflection coefficients
Description
The differential cross section and the polarization of 185 MeV protons in the elastic scattering from 12 C, 40 Ca, 90 Zr and 208 Pb and in the inelastic scattering from the lowest octupole levels of the same nuclei have been calculated. The calculations are based on a parametrization of the elastic scattering reflection coefficients and the Austern-Blair theory for one-phonon excitations in the adiabatic approximation.
